THE PROBLEM:

In August 2009, the window washing platform at one of Boston's high-rise buildings shifted and left two window washers hanging in panick at the 37th floor. It took more than twenty minutes for firemen to arrive, to knock out some of the windows and risk their own lives in reaching the workers. It made great headlines for two days, but it tied up emergency personnel and caused costly damage.

THE SOLUTION:

When the window washing platform is equipped with EasyDown descenders, the workers in such an emergency can descend to the ground on their own and without endangering rescue personnel and the onlookers below.
